“MERITO CHARITABLE TRUST”
“MERITO CHARITABLE TRUST” was founded in the year 2004 by Mr. Rajiv Darji, a devoted humanitarian at heart. He had the pure intention of helping needy, poverty struck and economically weaker section of our society, in any possible way he could. The major goal was to help destitute or orphaned children with any aid required, youth being the future of our country. Over the years we have gotten involved in various other causes wherever any help is required.
What
Our organization has a strong foundation of social awareness and a responsibility towards it.
We believe that we have an opportunity to serve the needy as well as the means to help uplift them.
For this reason, we have formed the Charitable Trust to support and organize multiple donation efforts throughout the year such as reaching out to orphanages & old age homes for supplies donation, books & stationary donation to the needy, free ambulance service along with other different initiatives for the welfare and upliftment of the community.

Our Activities majorly include: -
- Educational Aid –
- Providing free education, books, material etc to the needy children
- Arrange and hold social, educational & cultural seminars, also outdoor workshop activities.
- Providing financial aid to poverty struck children, in the way of Scholarships. This helps a student to realise their dreams of learning & educating themselves.
- Medical Relief –
- To arrange for mobile medical treatment facilities
- Bear the expenses for medical treatment for all deserving patient who are below poverty line.
- Grant medical aid to the needy especially in times of calamities like flood, earthquakes etc. or any unforeseen national crisis such as war, riots etc.

Over the past so many years, our vision and generosity has made an enormous contribution to the important work of charitable organisations across the length and breadth of the Mumbai. Merito Charitable Trust wanted to give something back into the society that had made it possible for us to contribute socially towards the society. For the past so many years the Trust has been led superbly by our able Team as our motto always stays ‘Always there when needed…that is what matters’. Today Merito Charitable Trust can look back with pride on a wonderful journey of work by contributing to so many excellent charities. The Trust’s grants, supports numerous individuals and charitable organisation each of which is committed to helping people to attain a better quality of life, a healthier future and fulfiliing aspirations. “Liitle Contributions Fund” Feel Free to Donate as it goes a long way” Through its “Liitle Contributions Fund” Merito Charitable Trust has helped thousands of smaller charities, many of whom have received regular support over the years.

Every one of us, at some time in our life, feels like contributing towards the betterment of the society.We at MCT believe in upliftment of the underprivileged by giving educational assistance apart from the medical help and social activities. But among the various obstacles faced by many of us in doing so, are limitations pertaining to time. In our busy schedule we hardly get time for any kind of social cause but we feel the need to do some thing and support the needy.
“Merito Charitable Trust” believes that education changes lives, and these transformed people can make a difference in their societies and in the world by working with patience, knowledge, justice, and compassion. Education helps in learning diverse communities, allows us to appreciate humanity and promotes social understanding and economic development. We believe that ideals, values and faith are a solid foundation for life, and that among other things do always encourage a sense of responsibility for ourselves and for the world.
Our values are common to many other educational institutions: the development of moral character, self-esteem and a sense of trustworthiness.
